The restored heart of the village, honoring the sanctuary our founders raised. A place for worship, weddings, and the weekly rhythms of prayer that consecrate everything else we build.

The Rosenwald Institute
A teaching and formation center named for the school movement that educated our grandparents. Home to leadership cohorts, heritage scholarship, oral-history archives, and residencies for pastors, scholars, and artists.

Therapeutic massage, hydrotherapy, sauna, sound baths, soaking-prayer rooms, and couples healing sessions. A sabbath for the body to match the sabbath of the soul.

The Guest Lodge & Cohort House
Sleeping 16–24, built for marriage intensives, clergy cohorts, seminary residencies, and family reunions, the kind of gathering that changes a congregation, a couple, or a generation.

Tiny-home cabins of roughly 400–500 square feet, elevated on piers among the trees, each one named and each one a journey: The Jubilee, The Secret Garden, Sankofa, and The Watchtower.

PHASE ONE · YEARS 1–2
Sacred Foundations
Land stewardship, chapel restoration, first cabins and infrastructure for the heart of the village.
PHASE TWO · YEARS 2–4
Infrastructure & Program
Guest lodge, the Balm House wellness center, signature retreats and the Rosenwald Institute.
PHASE THREE · YEARS 4–7
National Destination
A homecoming destination for the diaspora, convenings, residencies, and legacy giving.
THE GILEAD NETWORK
From the Soil We Rose
Our ancestors fed their families from this land, and the village will feed people again. The Gilead Network is our food and land initiative: gardens and orchards on the grounds, shared harvests with Logan County neighbors, and teaching programs that reconnect a new generation to soil, seed, and supper. Guests will eat what the land grows. Elders will teach what the land taught them.
